Should I have two separate shops?
Posted by Keith on Thursday Apr 24, 2008 Under EntrepreneurshipThe longer I operate online and obtain feedback, the more I am thinking that I need to open a second shop that is separate from Mindless Pursuits. That way I can have one shop dedicated to my paintings and other artworks and Mindless Pursuits could be dedicated to the other crafting that I do. The thinking is that one detracts from the other and leaves people not certain what my focus is.
So if you wouldn’t mind taking my poll on the right, what do you think? Should I have two separate shops?

I have two shops, and though it’s quite a hassle logging in and out of them, I think it’s worth it. Art somehow seems a little less professional when it’s shown amongst other odds and ends. Go for the second shop!
Oh, and your cherry blossom paintings are absolutely lovely!

I do think your banner could be a bit bigger.

I sort of agree with heather, although I’m not familiar with the world of painting and how it’s received by the public. So take my opinion with a grain of salt!
