OK. So maybe my PC isn’t HAL from 2001 A Space Odyssey, but it still seems to have taken on a life of it’s own. On Monday, the main hard drive died and so I needed to buy a new drive and install it. Once I did so, I re-installed the operating system and was hoping to get my applications restored and get back to my usual business (plus some posts) but that wasn’t to be. It instead decided to begin speaking gibberish to me and then die. I haven’t figured out exactly why it was speaking to me in tongues but I’m pretty certain it’s possessed by Bill Gates evil twin. In any case, I am writing this post using the Internet browser in my Playstation 3 so for anyone who’s been wondering why I’ve been so quiet lately, there’s your answer.

I’m hoping to call in the PC cleric tonight and have him exorcise this demon. If it works, I’ll be back up and posting tomorrow. If not, have a pleasant Memorial Day weekend and I’ll be back as soon as I sell my soul to get a replacement PC!
